    Rising Hollywood is the brainchild of Derek Feniger. The idea stemmed in a discussion when he was talking to his cousin, a rising actor in Hollywood. During the course of the conversation Derek realized while there are plenty of outlets for the ‘already risen’ members of this industry, there wasn’t a competitive player in the market for the new class of Hollywood.

    There are thousands of struggling artists in entertainment, trying to make it up the proverbial ladder, and within this group exists unbelievable talent and potential. It was this realization that led Derek to conceptualize a website aimed at and for the rising stars of Hollywood.

    Rising Hollywood has a two-fold goal:

    1. The first is it will be the ‘it’ place for new talent to feature themselves; to create a platform of support within the up-and-coming community.
    2. In turn, the second is to be the place where The Powers That Be discover new and fresh talent.We aim to be a self-perpetuating and a continuously growing interactive website, where each member feels like they are a part of the collaborative effort.
